NOW RECRUITING FOR POST-TREATMENT PATIENTS INTERESTED IN UPCOMING WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAMS HERE AT GENESYS HURLEY CANCER INSTITUTE

This 16 week weight loss program will be starting January 15, 2025, for Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute patients who are looking for a structured program to assist with weight loss. The program is centered around the successful evidence-based VA Move Weight Loss Program but modified to address the needs of cancer patients.

The program is 16 weeks in duration, 1 hour per week. Nutrition, behavior, and physical activity are core components to promote lifestyle change. Attending all 16 sessions is expected; however sessions can be made up if needed.
