(GENESEE COUNTY, MI) Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute (GHCI) will conduct free breast cancer screenings Thursday, Oct. 13, from 5 pm to 7 pm at GHCI, located at 302 Kensington Avenue in Flint.
The screenings are open to women and men ages 18 and older.

Support from the Pink ParTee Fund provides financial assistance for mammograms and to help with basic needs of breast cancer patients in active treatment.

Breast cancer can’t be prevented, but you can take steps to help detect it in its early stages. In addition to taking advantage of the free screenings offered at Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute, women of all ages are encouraged to perform breast self-exams at least once a month. Breast self-exams will help women become familiar with how their breasts look and feel so they can alert their physician if they notice any changes.
When breast cancer is detected early, it can be treated more successfully, increasing the chances for survival.
Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute provides the newest treatments and technology – right here where you need us. Visit www.ghci.org for more information.
